((Sorry for being lazy... *sweatdrop*))
George looked into Lyn's wide, vibrant eyes and suddenly felt like he could do just what she told him. It was like a void of understanding existed where her brain should've been. Not that it was a bad thing... it wasn't bad at all.
George shifted on the bench, smiling calmly. The weight of his secret, while still there, was being shouldered by not only him, but another friend. Lyn... Lyn was definitely a friend.
"Hey, do you have a date to the Valentine's Dance?" George inquired. Fearing being misinterpreted, he quickly added, "because I think I know someone who'd love you."

((no problem))
Lyn looked curious. Who was George talking about? Lyn couldn't really think of anyone who she would love to go to the Valentine's Dance.
"No, I don't yet. Who are talking about?"

George grinned. He didn't want Lyn to know just yet who he was speaking of... Netta was going to take care of the semantics. George just had to plant the seeds of an idea in Lyn's head. George loved helping people sometimes.
"Well, I don't want to tell you just yet," George told her with a smirk, "but trust me - he's not a moron. And you'd be perfect for him... if you're uncomfortable with a blind date, it's all right, I understand. He's just afraid because he hasn't really been in the dating scene for a while..."

"No, it's ok. A blind date sounds interesting."
Lyn was getting curious and eyed George. She hasn't been on a blind date before and she somehow trusted George that the blind date he'd chosen for her wouldn't be a moron.
"What are you up to?" She asked grinning. "Give me a hint professor George Weasley."

"What am I up to?" George echoed innocently. "Nothing, Lyn, nothing at all. Why would you think that someone as upstanding and normal as me would be up to no good?"
George couldn't take the irony of his statement and burst out laughing. When the gales subsided, he stopped, wiped a tear from his eye, and smirked. "No, I'm not up to anything, actually. I just have a friend I think would love to meet you... someone who would be very well-matched with you. Just trying to help two people who otherwise probably wouldn't know each other."
George was just a little worried about how Lyn would take this. If she thought he was going to humiliate or prank her, there went his entire plan! He had to be careful.

"I have read enough of you in the teachers' reports and what you told me just a while ago makes me thing you're up to something." She grinned and winked. "And your innocent statement didn't really convinced me."
She had to find out what George was up to and who he was thinking of for her blind date. Not that she disliked surprises, but it was the Valentine's Dance and she didn't really want to tell her blind date she was not interested if he wouldn't be the kind of guy she was looking for.
"You forget you're talking to a duelist George," she begun jokingly. "I won't give up that easily."
