Name::Lucinda Chaplin
Age::

Blood::half
Personality::
Slouching on the old sofa, head bent low in concentration as the words on the page turned into visions of a small boy in ragged clothing stands lost in the woods with his dragon as his only companion. Silence surrounds the two characters as they slowly and inconspicuously start forward. They had been running from the Kyran, an evil group of dragon hunters. Lucinda can feel the suspense - she knew that the Kyran had to be near, it was only logical. Her deep reverie was abruptly interupted as a crowd of excited third years bustle into the library after their first Hogsmeade trip. Disgruntled, swiftly packed her belongings in her bag, marked the page in her book, and stalked out of the library.
That's how Lucinda loved to spend some days - just relaxing and reading a good, suspenseful story. She was a bookworm and was not afraid to admit it to anyone. She usually always carried around a reading book in her bag and sometimes did not mind simply reading her History of Magic textbook, which was the least bit exciting in many ways. As she turned the corridor, she nearly ran headlong into two other girls - some of her fellow friends. They informed her that Quidditch practice was going on down in the Quidditch pitch. Rejuvenated, Lucinda thanked them, turned on her heel, and walked briskly in the other direction.
Quidditch happened to be the other thing she loved. She definitely was not a fan of crowds or loud noises, but she would not miss a Quidditch game for anything (so Quidditch was her one and only exception). She was not part of the house team yet, but she would not mind trying out. She just needed the courage to. She attended every school game and when she had time she would attend some practices, too. She would play with her friends occassionally, and they would always compliment her on her agility, saying that she would make a very good chaser.
Lucinda is a typical, everyday witch. She is assertive, willing, and witty. She is a bit shy, but she is not always afraid to speak her mind. Yes, she can be a bit critical sometimes, but who isn't? She has her ups and she has her downs, but in the end she has significant results.
Family::
Parents: Kade and Ivy Chaplin.
Siblings: younger brother, Carlisle.
Pets: a griffin
Ivy Chaplin was viciously murdered.
Carlisle attends Durmstrang.
History::
Kade and Ivy Wallace were just two of many excellent Aurors of their age. Kade's quick agility and Ivy's swift wrist and wand movements made them nearly invincible against any Death Eater. Even after the fall of the infamous Lord Voldemort, they continued to bring the Death Eaters to justice. Unfortunately, three short years after the birth of Lucinda, Ivy Wallace was viciously murdered by some of the top Death Eaters and Lord Voldemort's strongest supporters. Her death came as a real shock for KAde, especially considering that it happened right in front of his eyes. He retired his Auror job and upheld a top position in the Department of Mysteries ever since.
Lucinda was taught how to defend herself since the age of five, same with her younger brother, Carlisle. Even though she could not use a wand at that time, Kade taught her the hasty and prompt movement of defense, and when she was old enough he taught her basic resistive spells. As Lucinda grew older, she knew that her father was a bit paranoid after what happened to her mother. She learned to go along with the lessons, however. It wasn't hard, for she had her father's agility and her mother's swiftness. She enjoyed learning, as well, so it was not a boring task for her.
When she received her letter of acceptance into Hogwarts, she jumped for joy. She couldn't wait to dive into the magical academics and, more importantly, to receive her first wand. Kade took Lucinda into Diagon Alley to meet the famous wandmaker, Mr. Ollivander. Ollivander was delighted to learn that Lucinda had a pet Griffin, whom she saved from a major injury, and wished to make the core of her wand out of a Griffin feather from the pet himself. And so, Lucinda received a personalized wand that became one of her new prized possessions.
When the time finally came for Lucinda to leave her woodland home to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, she was already ahead of the other students in Defense Against the Dark Arts. She exceeds Charms and Transfiguration remarkably, receiving top marks. She grew to despise the gloomy and tense atmosphere of Potions class, but manages to get decent grades in both.
