Character: George Weasley
Age: 38
House: Was in Gryffindor when at school
Blood: Pure
Personality: George has always been mischevious and sneaky, usually sharing the limelight with his brother Fred. George was generally calmer and has a bit more common sense than Fred did in school. After Fred's death, however, George gained a brooding, introspective side that comes out occasionally, usually when he's alone. Hardworking when it comes to things he enjoys, like running Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, but not very adept with paperwork.
Family: George Weasley is a member of the "blood traitor" Weasley family - parents Arthur and Molly; brothers Bill, Charlie, Percy, and Ron (and his deceased twin Fred); sister Ginny. He still is in contact with them, even though he's since married (a half-blood, identity unknown) and had a son, Fred. He keeps in contact with his brother- and sister-in-law, Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.
History: George, along with his brother Fred, were the troublemaking duo du jour of Hogwarts at their tenure there, from 1989 until 1996. They were placed in Gryffindor house, like all of their siblings, but unlike their brothers and sisters, had a whole cabinet filled with student infraction lists in Filch's office. Their liking for practical jokes may have influenced the pair's decision to run a joke shop after abandoning school (in a flamboyant fashion) in their seventh year, protesting the authoritarian nuttiness of Dolores Umbridge. They probably would have continued and prospered at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, had the Second War not robbed George of his twin. Although the store remains open, George feels that something is missing...
George never really got over Fred's death, sometimes going so far as to blame himself for not doing more to protect him. For a period of at least a year, George became extremely introspective, rarely talking to anyone outside of his family. However, George realized that he was doing himself no favors, and returned to run the joke shop with Ron.
Other: George's emotional attachment to Fred is somewhat mirrored in his emotional attachment to his son. He views a thread to his son Fred as tantamount to a threat upon himself.
