He nodded. He, Lucinda, and Jerran grabbed the trophy. They began spinning fast. He wasn't much of a person to get dizzy. "When I say, Lucinda I want you to let go of the Trophy." He heard a simple whimper of "What?!" He nodded. Finally, "Let go... NOW!" He saw Lucinda let go. As he and Jerran let go they just looked like they were running in air to the ground with the trophy falling behind them.
"We'll leave it here. Are you alright Lucinda?" He asked looking at her. Surely she didn't take to hard of a landing.

Jarren's comment made Lucinda smile broadly, not to mention feel safer. They were so close, Lucinda and Jarren. Her father and him more. He was practically family, and she probably would have had a heart attack if he go with them when they left.
Daylor instructed Lucinda on what to do with the Portkey, and she did as she was told. Their feet suddenly left the ground and they were soaring at speeds unknown. Lucinda just listened for instructions and followed them. In no time, they hit the ground hard, sending the trophy flying in another direction. Lucinda yelped as her feet hit the ground so hard that she fell on all fours. Never...again, she thought bitterly to herself. She decided that she would stick to flying on a broomstick, no matter how slow that was.
She immediately picked herself back up and nodded when Daylor asked if she was okay. "Never better," she mumbled, brushed the dirt off her robes. She pulled out her wand, instinctively, and surveyed her surroundings. It was really dark outside, so it was hard to depict where they were, exactly. She didn't dare light her wand, in case they were somewhere in which being caught would lead to severe consequences.
She waited, wand held slightly in front of her, waiting for the next command. She was totally prepared for this. She would find her dad, she was confident. Her overconfidence slightly scared her, but she kept to it. Better than being depressed and sad.

Jerran got into the teleport as he landed on his feet as he looked around. He grabbed his wand as he looked around seeing Lucinda also grabbing her wand. "Brendan you know this is safe or not because I am feeling a bit cold."Jerran said looking around to see if there was a Dementor getting around. He then waited for Brendan to do as he protected Lucinda his family.

Brendan looked around. He too felt cold. He then saw it. 2 dementors above them heading there way. He ran in front of Lucinda. "Stay down!" He pointed his wand at the dementors. White light came from the tip of it. It shielded themselves from the dementors and sent them away. It appeared as a lion and the white lion stood in front of them.
"Stay behind me Lucinda. Dementors are not friendly things. They'll suck your soul out of you if they get their chance! Jerran I'll keep the dementors away as we go. Keep with Lucinda and don't let her out of your sight. Any wizards or stuff come at us. Take them." He began walking forward with the lion in front of him.

It was quite chilly. Unnaturally chilly, in Lucinda’s point of view. She wished that she had brought her cloak along. Idiot, she chastised. She would have to remember the next time she was going to battle off evil beings. She pulled her robes more tightly around herself and she looked up to see two black figures looming in the dark. They headed straight their way. Great. Caught already. Dementors.
Daylor order them get down, and Lucinda instantly dropped to her knees as he performed the patronus. She admired the white, glowing lion that escaped the wand’s tip. It was quite magnificent to look at, if they were under different circumstances. She remembered her father’s patronus. He had showed it to her on a few occasions and even tried to get her to perform it. She wasn’t really good at it. She could perform the small, silvery shield, but she had never gotten good enough to the full body patronus. She wondered what it would look like…
She was pulled out of her reverie as Daylor looked at her, ordering her to stay behind him. He explained what the Dementors were and their effects. Lucinda knew this but nodded anyway at his panic. Questioning or being sarcastic now was not the time. She looked up as the Dementors flew away, and stayed rooted behind Daylor.
Daylor ordered Jerran to keep Lucinda close, not to loose sight of her. She felt a bit indignant at being treated like a child. Well, technically she was labeled a child, but she was smarter than most. She could fend for herself…for the most part. She felt confident next to Jerran, anyway. She kept right by him, wand out defensively, should any trouble come her way.

Jerran heard what Brendan said as he looked to the Dementors fleeing. "Yes I will do it we must protect her that is it we can't let anything happen to her."Jerran said. He walked next to her as he pulled his cloak out and giving it to Lucinda. "Here so it can keep you warm."Jerran said. He then walked further looking around him to see if there was danger.

Brendan walked forward with Jerran and Lucinda right behind him. He felt that the three of them and the dementors weren't the only one's there. As his light began to fade he finally shouted the chant. "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" The light shown way brighter and scared off every dementor in sight back straight to Azkaban Prison. Azkaban forest wasn't the best place to be. Brendan stopped right where he was. "Homenum Revelio!"
As he looked around he saw Jerran and Lucinda's shadows. As knowing that Dementors have no shadows he looked around. A very large shadow was right in the trees hiding from them. He pointed his wand at the tree and shouted "stupefy!" As the red light flashed he saw the shadow move away. He wasn't frowning nor was he smiling. He was both. "Lucinda stay back." He took a few steps closer. "Come out I know your there Death Eaters!"
(We'll have someone join us for fun!!!)

Lucinda stayed right behind Daylor and Jerran the entire time, not daring to move out of place. The place was swarming with Dementors and she regretted not paying closer attention to the Patronus Charm her father had once attempted to teach her. She never thought she would need it, but now she wished she could kick herself. Knowing that this would be futile in their current situation, she remained close to Jerran, wand out, surveying the scene around them.
It was so cold - how did it get so cold! She wrapped the cloak Jerran had given her tightly around her person, trapping the heat inside. This didn't help her nose which felt like it was freezing over. By now she could see her own breath when she exhaled. A flash of light from Daylor's wand made her look up to see that the Dementors were beginning to retreat. He used that spell that they were taught during a lesson one day, revealing shadows. She wondered if Dementors had shadows, but there was one distinct shadow in the distance.
Instinctively, she kept her wand in that general vincinity; she was not going to be taken by surprise, even though the person was pretty much already revealed.

He watched the scene from a distance, slightly amused at what he saw. Jerran Maladene and Brendan Daylor, fighting to keep their souls amongst the swarming Dementors. Unfortunately, they both were skilled at the Patronus Charm, but the hood creatures seemed to be during their job all the same. Distraction was easily accomplished in battle, particularly if one has the resources. Smirking to himself, he hid among the trees, obscured by their casting shadows in the moonlight. The Dementors began retreating and that smirk vanished.
Daylor revealed his shadow - curse him - and they knew that somebody was there. What he didn’t know what how many people were there. Some of his followers were on the other side of the clearing, others were with the prisoner, and quite a few surrounded him now. He heard their chuckles of amusement at the scene before them, but he noticed something; there was a girl. He wondered in surprise at what would drive those two into bringing some little girl into a scene like this. Fortunately, this might make things fun; adds another distraction as they have to protect her.
Daylor’s shouts were audible and he figured that this was his cue. Nodding to nobody in particular, some of the Death Eaters around him began to walk slowly forward, faces hidden away behind metal masks. He, in turn, followed them, while the rest encircled him like guards. Of course, this was how it was supposed to be. They would protect him with their lives, and so he was not afraid. He was an extreme duelist, as everybody knew.
As he approached the two men and the little girl (whom he recognized as a Gryffindor, considering her robes), the smirk came back across his face. “Daylor…Maladene…it’s been too long.” He strode up, looking at them with his pitch black eyes. His eyes traveled to the girl. “And whom might this be? A student of yours, Daylor? I wouldn’t have imagined that you would bring her to such a place…”

Brendan gave no smile to him. He was not pleased. "Ah, nice to see you again Gerolodone. I assume you took over the Death Eaters correct? That would seem why the Dementors left Azkaban for us. Why else would they leave prison? As for her you have no need to know! Now tell us where Mr. Chaplin is and we'll be on our way!" His wand stood at his side. He did not stutter. This was urgent and dangerous.
He looked at Lucinda but said nothing. He stood few feet from her and looked to Jerran. "Stay back by her. Don't let anyone near her. We can't risk to lose her." He whispered silently and took a few feet forward. At the edge of his eye he saw two Death Eaters jump at him but were to slow to him. His wand sent them flying past Lucienn and paralyzed. "I will ask you one more time. Where is Arthur Chaplin?"
((Wasn't sure if that's his name couldn't remember))

Jerran saw the scene as he stayed close to Lucinda protecting her. "I am here for your."Jerran whispered. He then got up looking to the dark lord and his Death Eaters that came to him. He grabbed his wand as he made looked to Lucinda making a big shield appear. "It will help you to stay undamaged."Jerran whispered again. That was one thing he could and that was making a shield from his mind. He then shot 4 spells at the DE around. "It is a shame Geraldone that your pets aren't strong as you were in the last years."Jerran said looking to Geraldone.

They seemed keen on protecting this girl. Why? What importance was she to the world? She seemed like any other girl in the world, one that didn't deserve the time of day and were better off dead. He looked at her for a moment with cold, threatening eyes, a terrible smirk spreading across his face. His eyes did not even flicker when Jerran cast spells at his Death Eaters, those who followed and protected him through anything. The smirk vanished when the Death Eaters blocked off the attacks with some ease. Jerran's comment brought that serene, placid look back to the Dark Lord's face.
"Oh yes," he said with calm sarcasm. "They seem terribly weak, considering that they just blocked off your attacks." His eyes darted back in Daylor's direction to address his previous demands, not that they would be immediately met, if at all. "As for the Chaplin gentlemen, I am afraid that he has yet to serve his true...purpose, if you will. He is still of value to me. You can have him when he complies to give me what I want." He eyed them both for a moment before he chuckled, looking at the girl again. She had familiar physical qualities that made his new revelation amusing.
"Ah, you brought his daughter along." he said. "Well, that wasn't very generous of you two. Such a girl shouldn't be exposed to such things, particularly this place." He raised a hand, and as if on cue, a swarm of Dementors flew from the shadows, casting ice and a terrible chill (that didn't bother him) upon the grounds. [/blockquote]

She hated weakness, and the one thing that she considered weak of all was fear. Well, that was exactly the thrill that was running through her body with speed unimaginable. Fear rippled down her spine at the sight of the new Dark Lord, eyes wide at actually finding his appearance. The two adult men seemed keen on protecting her, but she couldn't help but to stare up at the threatening man.
She broke her gaze when Jerran produced a shield of some sort out of nowhere. Insults and spells were thrown, which made her wince. The Dark Lord's penetrating stare made her extremely uneasy, inching closer toward Jerran instinctively until she was so close that she was brushing into his robes. Her eyes did not leave the man for a second, wand gripped tightly in her hand as the rest of her body began to shake.
The words he said about her father only produced terrible images in her head, ones she tried to shoo away. She grimaced at all the thoughts, shrinking back slightly as the men went at it. She felt her body go ice cold when he realized who she was. Great...just brilliant! She couldn't feel her legs to move at all.

Brendan was furious at what had happened. Geroldone had summoned more Dementors at them as if a hundred weren't enough. Brendan's patronus was still in affect from earlier and scampered the Dementors off. He then looked at Lucienn. "NO YOU DON'T!" He called as he saw Lucienn raise his hand to summon more, Brendan pointed his wand at Lucienn who had done the same and sparks flew from both connecting. It looked as if it were a battle to the death. But was it? "Tell me where Arthur Chaplin is and I will spare you!" He demanded straight away!

As Brendan was busy with the Dark Lord Jerran was going to be busy with the Death Eaters and Dementors. "Stay close Lucinda."Jerran said. "Inferno Maxima."Jerran said. The ice melted and he made it so hot around that the robes started to burn from the Death Eaters. "Sorry guys I should have warned you from the solar heat that was coming in the night."Jerran said. He then pointed to the group around him and Lucinda. "Invatio Bombardo."Jerran said. The spell was not known in the normal wizard world but the Ministry knew it. It would Blast the DE away and knock them out. He pointed to the knocked out DE. "Come back and I jinx you again."Jerran said.
