May turned down this corridor. Prehaps she made a wrong turn. How would she know? Listen I guess. May started mumbling to herself.

"At one point there was a creature, a nymph, who desired something, something so powerful, it couldn't have ended the world as we know it? But when she requested it from the gods as a gift, they denied her every time, they brought her a stone every time, she tried? What did she do with the stones? Well, she took them one by one into the water, and created an island just for herself.
The nymph simply, started with whatever she got, and invited the other nymphs over to be under the control of herself, and not of the gods. Then she got what she wanted, power." Until the gods got fed up, and destroyed her island, thus making her the same as everybody else, scrambling for life in the middle of the ocean."

She wasn;t mad if thats what your thinking, she was just mumbling something stuck in he head. Thats why most of her kind avoid talking to her when she was like this. By herself.

Alecto stepped slowly down the corridor. It was forbidden, of course, which had its attractions. It was also dark, gloomy, and cold. She shivered as she raised her wand ahead of her. It lit the stone passage in a rush of white light, and Alecto allowed a moment for her eyes to focus. Now why was such a depressing place forbidden?

Suddenly the sound of footsteps echoed behind her and Alecto immediately whispered to her wand. She became immersed in darkness. As the footsteps came closer, a voice along with it. It appeared to be an adult's voice, and Alecto's interest immediately piqued. A professor venturing through the forbidden corridor?

Alecto listened closely to the woman's words. It appeared to be a fable about water nymphs and world destruction, and Alecto immediately felt a sense of concern. What was wrong with this woman? As the person came nearer to her, Alecto decided to make her presence known.

"Who are you?" she asked quite politely, "And are you stark mad?"

May instantly stopped. "The first question is who are you?" May asked, she wanted to get the location of the person first. May flipped out her cane. "Its polite to give your name first." She added as a second thought.
May was wearing midnight blue, but it appeared black since she did not have her wand lit.
May found this corridor quite odd, like she had never been down it. Wrong turn?
But in general it didn't matter, there was someone else in here. Her eyes darted around rapidly trying to locate the sound.[/size]

Her eyes had already adjusted, but apparently the woman's had not. Then she noticed the cane and realized immediately that perhaps this woman couldn't see at all. Whoever this woman was, she was right. Alecto was being quite rude. How terrible for her to not make a proper introduction.

"Lumos," she muttered.

Her wand once again lit the corridor with bright light.

"My name is Alecto Carrow," she replied dutifully. "Are you completely blind?"

She then wondered what would happen if she tripped this blind woman.

"Ah, so you've heard of me?" She gave a slight smile.
"May Hui-Ying Professor of Mythology & Legends here at this castle they call Hogwarts." May's mind raced.
Alecto Carrow, Alecto Carrow, Alecto... Then May asked randomly:
"What was your mothers name dear child?" She took a few steps forward. Stepping on Alecto's foot.
"There you are!" I thought I heard a shift of her foot, Slytherin.[/i][/size]

Professor May Hung Wee blah blah just stepped on her foot and it hurt. Alecto let forth a gasp and reached to rub the offended digit, a sour look on her face. She nearly resisted the urge to kick the woman in the shins. Alecto couldn't quite explain why, but she had a feeling this was done on purpose. Perhaps Professor May couldn't see it, but her scowl was evident in her response.

"I'm afraid I've had yet to hear of you, but the cane really gave away your.. er.. predicament?"

She wrinkled her face before rising to her feet.

"My mother's name was Cordelia, but you probably recognize my name from that of my auntie. My father named me after her. I believe she was a reputable Ravenclaw."

Not to mention a Death Eater.

May gave a laugh, "Why yes so it would seem, it would give away my blindness." May was always forward about it. May's face was straight, in her Noh expression, unreadable. Her eyes darted to her cane, though she could not see it, she knew that is was white and black, with her family crest in it.


"Ah, yes that tormentor from my youth." May laughed, "She was a handful that one. I had to share the same common room with that one. Even that was a danger."

May was instantly alerted: Great another Carrow running around causing havoc.
