Brendan sat down at the table of the Leaky Cauldron. Brendan didn't seem happy at all nor did he seem angry. He was reading the Daily Prophet over and over again.
One week ago, the topic on everybody's lips was, "has the Dark Lord returned?"
After a short interview with the Minister, he confirmed that there was a new Dark Lord rising.
The Minister also said the Ministry is now searching for him, although how much good that will do, still remains a mystery.
If this new Dark Lord is anything like the old, we can be sure that the Ministry are going to be hard put to find him.
When the Minister was asked what precautions the Wizarding World should take, he merely said, "The people should all avoid Dark Magic."
Of course, any wizard with an ounce of common sense would be able to do that.
We suggest that anyone acting suspiciously should be reported to the Ministry.
We also asked the Minister about the search for the famous Auror, Kade Chaplin.
We asked him whether the Ministry had come any closer to finding the missing man, but the Minister said, "For that the Ministry cannot tell, because that is top secret."
We still don't know why it is top secret, but we didn't press the Minister for information.
And to conclude the interview, we asked how the Ministry was going about seeking out the Death Eaters. We were answered with this, "We also have that taken care of and the Wizarding World don't have to worry."
So, taking the Minister's advice, do not worry, the Ministry have everything under control.
As he heard the minister sit down, he slammed the paper on the table and looked at him. "Thank you for keeping us quiet. I'm glad you didn't mention us. However..." He looked at the paper then back at him. "... You could have said something better than 'All avoid dark magic' Something like dark mark, shadow flame or something. Surely you're smart enough to come up with something!" Brendan then turned to the 2nd page back a few pages and read allowed.
"
The Dark Lord; has he returned for a third time? Or has he been replaced by another?
Either way, the Wizarding World is looking grim this week.
Information has told the Ministry that there has been a sudden rise in Dark Magic. Could it be the Death Eaters?
If it is, they must be under someone's command, although the Ministry have yet to find out who and, with all their Auror's suddenly going missing and turning up dead - or not turning up at all - they are finding it harder and harder to complete that task.
We have not, as of yet, managed to get an interview with the Minister, or any member of the Ministry involved with this disaster.
Harry Potter has not yet risen to help, and we are fearing that we are being ignored by the Boy Who Lived.
More news this week:
Kade Chaplin has still not been found, although the Ministry has sent out one of the biggest manhunts since Sirius Black's escape from Azkaban.
The Ministry are now questioning whether the famous Auror is still alive.
"
Brendan slammed the paper on the table. "This reporter has some nerve! 'Harry Potter has not yet risen to help' What's she pulling at. He works for the Ministry. I assure him caution at what comes ahead." He took a sip of water.
