George looked at his watch. He was on time, exactly on time. He hoped that he'd shown up in the right place... Headmaster Daylor said the bathroom on the first floor. Well... Moaning Myrtle's haunt was the only bathroom on the first floor.
It was a disgusting place. She'd flooded the bathroom floors, so George was standing in a puddle of staid water, feeling dirtier by the second. As soon as this was over, he was going to take a shower in the common room and maybe yell at some first years for trying to curse the ceiling again.
He leaned against a sink, only to have the end chip off and fall to the ground. George jumped. "Oh crap..."

Brendan opened the door to hear just in time someone shout. "Oh crap..." Brendan figured it was George. He took a peak first and saw red-haired man. Yep, it was him! Brendan walked in and quietly shut the door behind him.
"Ooh. Headmaster. Fancy seeing you here in the bathroom again. Come to see the hidden thing?"" Brendan looked at Mertle. "Myrtle, have you said anything to anyone about it?" He spoke softly. "Oh, no Headmaster. I wouldn't. I've been sitting here guarding it like you said. 'Scare off anyone who trespasses but George Weasley' and I did. No one has been in here for a long time. Someone tried to hex me to tell what I was hiding, but I'm a ghost."
Brendan nodded swiftly at Myrtle. "Thanks Myrtle. You've done well." He turned. "Ah George so nice of you to drop in the puddle! So you sure you're up for this?" He wanted to make sure he could handle it. "Dragon-hide gloves with you like I said?"

George laughed feebly at the Headmaster's joke, scooping the piece of porcelain off the ground with one dragon-hide gloved hand. He held the piece unsteadily to the edge of the sink, wand drawn with the other hand. "Reparo." George let go of the clump of plaster. It stayed attached to the sink, much to George's relief. He turned back to Headmaster Daylor, showing off the purple scales on his gloves.
"Of course," George nodded. "But, Headmaster... please tell me that we aren't going into the Chamber of Secrets. I don't want to be near any of You-Know-Who's old haunts. Personally..." In his school days, George would've given anything to see what lurked beneath Myrtle's bathroom. Now he'd rather avoid the traces of Voldemort, the ultimate cause of Fred's death. "...I don't know if I'd be ready to go down th -"
"Harry went down there," Myrtle noted irrelevantly. George sighed. Of all the ghosts to have a crush on Harry.
"I KNOW. I don't particularly CARE," George muttered to her. "I'm just worried about the remnants of You-Know-Who's power."

Brendan chuckled. "Haha no George we're not going down the C.O.S. now over here." Brendan had instantly heard Myrtle mumble "Harry went down there!" Brendan looked at her and sighed. "Of course Myrtle." He pulled out his wand and tapped three different tiles on the bathroom wall. "Evalesciro" Brendan took a few steps back.
The bathroom wall began to pull tiles sideways. Once through a dark corridor was visible. Brendan nodded. "Make sure the gloves are on you very tight. We're going through here. I was luckily fortunate to find this in my 3rd year!" Brendan pulled on his dragon-hide gloves and snatched them tightly. He pulled his wand "Lumos!" and began to walk down the corridor. Once George entered behind him the tiles shut closed and the corridor was dark and squeezed. "You OK?"

The tiles seemed to slam closed behind George as he wandered into this corridor. He'd never even known about this passageway - it must have been a huge secret, if even Wormtail, Moony, Padfoot, and Prongs didn't know about it! George watched Myrtle's forlorn face disappear as darkness coated George's body.
"Lumos!" George commanded to his wand, lighting up his surroundings a bit more. He noticed that Headmaster Daylor had done the same. George only nodded to the Headmaster when he was being asked if he was alright, and pressed forward, the ground slimy beneath his feet.
"Um... Headmaster... are we, by any chance, by a leaky pipe?" George questioned. It didn't feel like water beneath his feet, and George didn't particularly want to know what was sitting beneath his loafers. "...It feels kind of... grimy down here."

Brendan heard George speak to him and Brendan called back. "Not really. Let's just say that we are walking under a lake. Now keep close we are nearly there." Brendan kept forward and the room began darker. "OK looks like more action is in need." He stopped. Turned sideways but kept his wand facing the dark even if he faced the tiles and then shouted "Luminisium!" Just then a huge light began to grow from his wand and as soon as it was a huge round light it blasted of the tip and hit the end of the tunnel which felt like 2 minutes to hear a bang. After the bang light flashed past him and George brightening up the whole tunnel. "Well that has been the 4th time I've used it and still not used to it. Eyes hurt?" Brendan asked rubbing his eyes.
