Exploring Hogwarts had turned out to be a rather fun way to spend time in between classes, expect of course when homework was set.
Addy had managed to make her way out of the school across the grounds and outside the forbidden forest. Her brother had made her read all she could about Hogwarts and it was clearly stated that the Forbidden forest was just that- Forbidden.
The headmaster even stated such at the feast, but staring at it now Addy couldn't find any reason what would make it forbidden, it may be dark but she was sure that any witch or wizard who knew how to use their wand could find their way in.

"All you need is a few bread crumbs Addy muttered to herself, something she had been doing a lot lately.
"hm note to self muttering to self may be clear sign one is going crazy" she declared aloud hoping that would make her sound less crazy

"Another note you might add....wandering around near the Forbidden Forest could easily get you expelled or worse...killed..."

The cold, emotionless voice seemed to float out of the darkness of the forest, no doubt scaring Adalia. Out from the thick brush stepped Lucius Malfoy, eyes burning with anger that so early into the year, a student would so blatantly disobey the rules.

"Then again," he added with clear distaste in his voice, "I could have just let you enter yourself and experience the hostility yourself. That would have been rather tragic, don't you think?"

Using his gloved fingers to comb leaves out of his hair, he gazed at her sternly and waited for a reply, hoping she'd be too busy thinking of an excuse to wonder why he himself had been out here. Truth be told, Lucius had been dealing with one of the centaurs that called the forest home, trying to force information out of him about the new Dark Lord. The centaur refused to help Lucius and a fight ensued, ending with Lucius knocking the centaur out with a blasting spell. He hadn't dared kill the centaur; the defense magic around Hogwarts would've picked up the curse easily.

Addy stared up at the man and gulped down a breath, torn by the fact that she had been caught and the fact that Forbidden Forest had just become that much more interesting.

"Well sir, expulsion during my first year wouldn't be the best thing... death wouldn't be that much better. But I would like to point out in my defense that you seem fine and you just came out of the forest Addy pointed out before smiling slightly.

"Of course I should take in the fact that your older and have more experience then me and for all I know the creatures in the forest might be more scared of you then you are of them... they might have reason not to hurt you Addy added her innocent smile growing.

She had seen Lucius at the feast and he didn't seem all that happy to be there, so Addy was trying to make sure not to annoy him... something about him made her uneasy.

For a second, Lucius was shocked. He figured she would be too frightened of being discovered to wonder why he himself was in the forest. But he wouldn't give her the satisfactory of getting the best of ol' Lucius Malfoy.

"You think yourself a clever girl, do you? Hm...I have things to do, I don't have time to properly discipline you. Be gone from here, Miss Addison or I will take you into the forest myself and give you a proper introduction of those creatures and I assure you, they are much more worse than me."

Lucius turned and briskly strolled past Adalia, but stopped, a thought forming in his mind. Here he was about to pass up an opportunity to show up a Gryffindor. Instead, he turned back to her and glared.

"Actually, I've changed my mind. If I let you off this once, then you'll run back to your friends with the idea that Mr. Malfoy is a pushover. No, my dear child, I've got a better idea. Detention, in the dungeons is what awaits you. Don't be late, or I'll take ten points from Gryffindor every minute I have to wait, understand? Realize this is a light punishment compared to what you will have gotten had I been in a foul mood. I'll see you later tonight, Miss Addison."

With that, he turned and strolled away from her, a stern expression on his face. He would not let her, nor that wretched Lucinda Chaplin get the best of him this year.

Addy spun and watched Lucius, had he given her detention for just standing out side the Forbidden Forest.

"But sir..." Addy clamped her lips together before she said anything more. It was one thing to argue you way out of something but arguing with a teacher is another thing.
Keeping eye contact with Lucius nodded and sighed "Yes sir, I understand... I won't be late Addy assured tucking her hands into her robe.
