Zoe walked towards the clearing she had been to so many times to feed the dragons.
She looked at the familiar surroundings.
She smiled. The Forest was one of her favourite places. She used to go exploring in the Forest when she was younger.
Zoe smiled, again, as she recalled the many times she had been caught.
Gryffindor had never been one for holding on to House Points, but while Zoe was at school, it was even worse.
Zoe sat down against a tree and thought.
To think, I only left school two years ago, and I'm back again.
She looked at the ground, where she saw the giant footprints of the dragons she had encountered.
This was where I saw my first dragon, all them years ago, in first year.
Dragons had always been something Zoe was fascinated by. She never thought much of the other classes.
She enjoyed Defence Against the Dark Arts, and Transfiguration, but all of the other classes used to bore her.
She used to live for the nights where she would sneak out to the Forest and see the dragons.
Despite not having any parents, Zoe had had a good childhood.
The sky began to darken and Zoe had to light her wand.
"Lumos," she whispered to the rapidly approaching darkness.
The light forced her surroundings to glow in an eerie blue/green.
She thought more of her childhood, and how she had been brought up by one of her cousins, Andromeda, who had lost her daughter and son in law in the war.
Andromeda used to talk and Nymphadora and Remus all the time. She'd show Zoe photos of when the two got married, and when Teddy was born.
Teddy and Zoe were as close as brother and sister. They used to play together when they were little.
And they'd support each other. Even now, the two are offering each other support.
Zoe liked just sitting there and letting her old memories stream through her mind. She heard a twig break behind her, but payed no attention to it, she'd learned that it was probably a fox from the last time she was in the Forest.
