It has been exactly eleven years since the death of Lord Voldemort. His reign has scarred the lives of many people forever, but his malicious spirit lives within the body of his chosen heir, Tom Marvolo Riddle Jr. Little Tom is the son of a girl with whom Voldemort was friendly with as a child. He never knew love, it was true. But the girl enjoyed the malicious activities that Voldemort did. And while Voldemort could care less for the girl, she became his first Death Eater.
As the birth of her son came into revelation, Voldemort immediately wanted him as heir to his domination, because he knew that with some hard training, the son could be even stronger than his mother, who was one of the most powerful Death Eaters, considering she was under the strict instruction of Voldemort himself.
Little Tom has no recollection of Voldemort, nor does he know what secret plans were in store for him. He was a typical, spoiled, evil little child. His mother, however, was sent to Azkaban and later experienced the Kiss, and her body rots away in the prison.
One other person knew of this, and that was Lucius Malfoy. He took the son in before the Ministry was able to take him away and he sent the boy to live with some family friends of his. He knew that Tom would be in good hands with that particular family, who were brutal and showed no mercy.
Lucius Malfoy awaits they day Tom would arrive at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was able to save his name and uphold the position of Headmaster at the ancient school. As the Ministry grows weak, Lucius overtakes the goings of the school.
Dolores Umbridge is welcomed back to the school with open arms to rejoin her former position, Defense Against the Darks Arts teacher. Lucius gave her specific instructions to teach like she had when the Ministry put her there. He didn't want the students to be strong and intelligent for a rebellion as he trained young Tom.
Lucius's wife, Narcissa, is forced to hold the position of History of Magic, as well as his son Draco is forced to teach Potions. Lucius reluctantly keeps Professor Minerva McGonagall and some other teachers that are not particuarly Death Eaters. He does this only to relieve any suspicions from those sharp intelects at the Ministry.
Terror and fear has been instilled on the students. Because half the teachers are Death Eaters, Gryffindors have been experiencing the cruelty worse than the other Houses. Students now fear being selected into Gryffindor, but know that it is no good to hope, for the Sorting Hat never lies. Slytherins are treated like royality by the Death Eater teachers and enjoy the power they now have.
Not everyone is afraid of the Slytherins, nor the teachers. Kaelyn Potter, daughter of the famous Harry Potter, decides that it is time for rebellion. After speaking with her father about the harsh conditions, Harry Potter agrees that things are getting bad. He informs her of the secret society that he and his best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, developed during their own dark times - Dumbledore's Army, or the DA. Kaelyn is extremely interested and with the support from her two best friends, the she decides to reopen the club to all members of the resistance.
Sparked by his daughter's dedication, Harry Potter himself decides that it is time to build up the Order of the Phoenix again. He begins to recruit old members of the DA first, and works his way around that. Together, the two armies build to grow stronger and stronger.
The resistance isn't the only ones who are reforming old traditional groups. Lucius Malfoy decides to rebuild the Inquistorial Squad - composed mainly of dedicated Slytherins. This will help to keep students in line when the teachers he deems appropriate are not around.
Will they be able to build the resistance up to the point where they can defeat the upcoming Dark-Lord-in-training? You decide.
