George had no idea why he volunteered to post the mandatory class lists around the castle for the first years. To avoid paperwork? That was a good reason to help out, especially since George felt like his brain was going to melt. To avoid Lucius? VERY good reason to help out. Being stuck in the Staff Lounge ensured that his vicious glare would always be directed towards him. George pulled another piece of parchment out of his messenger bag and flicked out his wand, using a Sticking Charm to place the notice up, right by the empty classroom on the first floor. He had about seven more floors to go.
Thank God he had all day to do it... otherwise he might never finish. George wandered into the empty classroom. Just some bookcases, scattered books, a cauldron, and a floor directory of the Ministry of Magic. It was probably an old refuge of Professor Umbridge's. Not caring either way, George put a notice up right by the MOM Floor Directory.

Alexis was skipping through the hallways. She was so happy she did not know why. She thought she saw one of her many Professor's go into an empty classroom. She followed him. Why was he going through an empty room for? She then saw a notice that he put up but she crept right behind him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hi ya there Professor Weasley I was looking for you." she said with a smile on her face. "I heard you and your twin brother were the pranking twins around here. And I need help coming up with a Prank to play on someone in this school!" she said with a sly smile. She didn't really want to say on whom though. Well just yet anyways.

George jumped about four feet in the air. "Alexis! Bloody hell - you scared me..." George then realized he'd cursed in front of a student. Great. He needed two personas - a joke shop one, and a teacher one. He listened to Alexis as she explained, eyes glittering, that she needed help with a prank.
George immediately frowned. Headmaster Daylor specifically told him to not let anyone who asked for help with these kinds of things get their way. With students running around misbehaving and such, the last thing George needed was to be implicated in any of it.
"...Honestly, Alexis?" George murmured. "That was when I was a teenager. A really stupid teenager with an equally-as-stupid twin brother and girlfriend." George couldn't believed he'd just called his wife stupid, but he'd also dealt blows to himself and the memory of Fred. But he needed to make a point. "...Although I'd love to help... I'm in no position to, unless you're using some stuff from the joke shop to pull off your prank."
George frowned lightly. The scary thing was, he did want to help. It wasn't the right thing to do, though.
"I... I just don't want to betray the Headmaster's trust, is all," George finalized, tacking another sign on the opposite end of the room. He was afraid of how Alexis would respond to his explanation. But she should've known better - he was a Professor for God's sake.

Alexis looked at him a bit with a small frown. She should have known. She then smiled a bit then suddenly remembered. "Aren't you the owner of the Weasley Wizarding Wheezes?" she asked him with a smile on her face. She was hoping if that was so maybe just maybe she could work out some kind of deal with him. She wasn't sure how yet but she knew though that it has to work out just some how. She loved pulling some pranks and she wanted to pull one on someone in this school. That is all she knows for the time being.

George couldn't hide the smirk that was growing on his face. So Alexis was hoping to rope him into a deal on that. Well, he was George Weasley, and he could probably best a first year in a battle of wits with both hands tied behind his back.
"Yes, that I am," George admitted. "I sell the products, I catch students using them, I confiscate them, I use them in the Staff Lounge." He snickered, grinning like a maniac. "I have some products in boxes in my office... if you're interested in buying them. As long as you don't plan on using them on me."
If Alexis agreed to the offer, things would get mighty interesting. See, no one could PROVE he sold them on campus. Not only that, but he was really stalling time to figure out what Alexis' plan really was.
Manipulation. Friend of idiots and teachers alike.

Alexis looked at him with a smile on her face. Now we are in business she thought to herself. "I'm interested. And why would I prank the Pranking King for?" she asked him with a smile. "Besides you would be able to smell one far off. Because you too were once like me. Innocent as one can be and causing trouble but not enough to get expelled am I right or am I right?" she asked him with a smile on her face.
Then she smiled a bit. "I can't really tell you who the prank is for. But I do know one thing. I'm not playing a prank on you or Professor Malfoy. He seems one that you don't really want to upset." she said with a smile on her face. Just from looking at Professor Malfoy you could tell that he is one person you don't want to mess with at all. And he knew that too. She looked at Professor Weasley. "Could you tell me what kind of pranks you had done here when you were at school?" she asked him with a small smile of interest.

"Innocent. Psh. I got nearly suspended once a week," Fred muttered in an undertone. "Me and Fred and Lee Jordan and later Eri-su..." George smirked as he remembered just how much trouble he got into his fifth year. If he hadn't left, he surely would've been expelled, and he still had trouble believing that Lee and Erica weren't after Fred's and his grand departure. ((OOC: I don't know the proper grammatic way of putting that.))
George pulled on the paper. The Sticking Charms were working. Finally, he'd mastered the Sticking Charm, only twenty years after he was supposed to know it. "And no, you shouldn't mess with Professor Malfoy. Just... no, just don't even bother.
"And as for what kind of pranks I did when I was in school... I did anything that would get me in trouble. Fred and I were not good role models... until Umbridge came along. Then we were anti-establishment heroes. Kind of weird how things change." George blinked before grinning widely at Alexis. "We covered the Charms corridor in swampland, set off boxes of fireworks during classes, invented Skiving Snackboxes... seventh year was great..." George couldn't help but relive some of those moments in his head as he spoke.

Alexis looked at him for a minute. "Okay more Innocent before you came to Hogwarts." she said with a smile. "Can you tell me more about Professor Malfoy please? He seems like a guy you don't want to mess with at all and that sometimes scare the heck out of me. I don't really know much about Magic and I'm sure I'll will someday but at the pesent moment. I don't. You see I'm a muggle born and well I'm pretty much new to the magical things." she said with a small smile. She sort of decided she may not do pranks this year around.

George kind of flinched when Alexis mentioned Lucius. She was like a curious, clueless preschooler, poking around with her mind going a thousand miles an hour and no way to bring herself back to Earth. The fact that she casually mentioned that she was a Muggle-born in basically the same breath told George that she was cruising for trouble if she messed with Lucius.
"Lucius Malfoy?" George murmured. "Well, my main advice to you would be not to mess with him. He's strict and not very forgiving, you see. Cross him and he'll make sure you come off worse for. Miss... James, is it? Just be really careful around him."
George was a bit shocked with how concerned he was about Alexis. She seemed so naive, like she wanted to try everything no matter what, just for fun. That kind of attitude was sure to get her in trouble with the stricter teachers, especially Lucius.
"...You're naturally curious, aren't you?" George inquired.

"Oh yes. My parents well they never really tell me anything. So I usually find out in books or by asking other people." she said with a smile on her face. "Just kidding there. My parents tell me a lot but they have a wizarding world is like though." she said with a small smile. "You know being the only one in the house with magical powers can be overwhelming and leaves you with a lot of wonders about magic and well other things." she said with a smile.
"My parents they thought that I was doing magic tricks so they put me on Television. But now that they know that I wasn't doing magic tricks and I'm an actual witch with magical powers the telvision show has been cancelled." she said with a small smile. "Which I don't mind. I like it here so far. And I wouldn't be able to go home and do the show and then come back here. Would I?" she asked with a small smile. "No I wouldn't be able to for one thing I would be to busy with homework that you Professor's give me." she said with a smile.
"Professor Malfoy's first name is Lucius?" she asked him with a small smile. "What kind of name is that?" she asked him with a small smile. "Maybe that's why he is mostly cranky because he doesn't like his first name. You know if I was his mother I would have named him Johnathon. That's a better name for him." she said with a smile on her face. She basically wanted to know why Professor Malfoy was mostly crossed with almost everyone. "He seems to be cross with everyone but bossy to some. Like with Andrea Black." she said out of no where. She seemed to remember her first Dueling Magic Class with Professor Malfoy and who ever the lady was.

George just stared blankly at Alexis. She was crazy. Here she was, telling her whole life story with the air of a child talking about pie. And then she went off on Lucius' weird first name... it was like talking to someone with some sort of concussion. Or hallucinations. George just kept shaking his head, growing ever more confused.
"Well... I don't know if you've noticed, Miss James, but... most of us don't have normal names," George finally said, calmly but trying to keep his hysterical laughter down. "And he's cross because... I really don't know why. He was born rich, so I guess there's that..."
Not to mention his pure-blood mania, George thought bitterly. A girl like Alexis would exasperate him to no end.
Wow, cool word. Exasperate.
George walked out of the classroom, tacking another notice to the walls. "There are some people Lucius Malfoy just... seems to feel like he's above. Andrea is his niece, if I'm correct, so he would be bossier with her. It's a family thing, Miss James." George really hoped she wasn't going to ask him any more awkward questions... the situation could turn from annoying to prying in a second.

Alexis looked at a Professor for a minute and then followed after him. "Can I help you out by holding the um papers you are putting up please?" she asked with a smile before continuing about talking to him. She looked at him again with a small frown. She looked up at him. "Okay name two other people that goes here that has weird names. I don't think your name is weird I think it's normal." she said with a smile on her face. Then she looked at him for a minute. "Am I annoying you?" she asked him with a small frown. "I attend to do that to other's just because I talk to much. Is it my fault that I am merely courious?" she asked him with a small smile.

George nodded. "Sure, you can help out." He didn't want to deny the girl a chance to redeem herself in his eyes, even though at the moment she was nothing more than a really annoying nuisance.
"Two other people with weird names? Well, I could list quite a few," George smirked. "We have Lucius' son Draco, and famed Auror Alastor Moody - have you learned about him yet? Then Diandra Austentina, she teaches Muggle Studies, and Netta Barton, Charms teacher. Remus Lupin... Hermione Granger... your classmate Adalia Addison..." George shrugged. "There are a lot of weird names out there. But I don't advise telling people their names are weird." George grabbed a paper from Alexis and tacked it to the wall, suddenly a bit more cheerful.
As to if Alexis was annoying... "You're just a bit annoying, but nothing that can't be fixed with time and learning about the world around you. You're Muggle-born, right? It's natural to be curious at this point."

Alexis was glad to hold the papers for him. "Okay you're right a lot of werid names out there. And well Lucius in my opinion is the weirdest of all." she said with a small giggle. She then thought about. "Um who is Alastar Moody?" she asked him with a small smile. She hasn't learned about him yet. "Was he famous for something?" she asked him as she looked up at him with a smile on her face. She knew though she had a lot of time to wonder what she is gonna be though.

George dropped his wand. He ducked down and picked it up quickly, shoving it in his back pocket, staring incredulously at Alexis before remembering she was Muggle-born. Of course she wouldn't know Alastor Moody.
"Alastor Moody was one of the greatest Aurors ever," George explained. "Dark wizard catcher, I mean - that's an Auror." George didn't know if he was being condescending or helpful, because Alexis had a very random knowledge pool. "He caught hundreds of You-Know-Who's associates during the First War... but then he was killed in the Second War. But his place still stands."
George attached another flyer to the wall, smirking. He'd helped a student with his brain. That would NEVER happen again.
"...I'm guessing you haven't gotten that far in Auror Studies yet," George shrugged. "Oh well, now you can impress Th - Professor Costello in class."
