Katana nodded taking in the speach of the headmaster's. "I would not mind taking the position headmaster, in fact I was going to inquire about it." She said mentally scolding herself for lashing out at Lucius. She had a quick tounge, she always had. She was extremely ambitious and got to where she wanted to be quite easily. She had been offered a job a St. Mungo's not long ago, but turned it down. She was good with remedies and healing, and was good with blood, but horrible injuries sometimes gave her nightmares.

Brendan smiled at Zoe in her spoken words towards him. "Perhaps, you'd prefer a pensive in your office Professor Black? If so I could whip one up anytime you like. " He closed his eyes and leaned back against the booth head pointing up. "Then Katana, you shall start first thing when someone is injured. Your class can be moved to 7th floor if you like?"
He hummed to himself for a short while then spoke again. "Now, another matter at hand! First anyone remember Dargul Rushuh (ruh-SHWUH) from Hufflepuff few years back?" He mainly listened to hear from Netta, Lucius and George. "I here he has sought out to the Dark Lord." He heard moans as if they didn't believe him. "Oh, yes. Dargul has sought back as a death eater and I, however, believe a Dark Lord has risen again. I believe goes by Lord Lucius." He knew no one but Lucius and Zoe knew who he was referring to.

Lyn thought the situation would escalate between Lucius Malfoy and George Weasley, luckily the Headmaster stopped them. he turned to all teachers and then also to Lyn. Lyn was confused, she didn't do anything wrong... or did she? May be it was something she had said earlier. She tried not to show that she was nervous and hoped that the Headmaster would not adress her. But then he did...
"Lyn!"
Lyn listened carefully to what he'd say.
"You have always inspired me since you came to teach here. I would have appointed you Head of House if we hadn't've gotten Diandria, who I'm surprised never showed... along with Minerva, I have had the decency of your abilities to appoint you head of the Dueling Club!!!"
What was that? She was now Head of the Dueling Club? Lyn couldn't believe it. She just came to Hogwarts to apply for a teaching position and now she was made Head of the Dueling Club. She was more than surprised and seriously didn't understand why she was chosen - not that she wasn't happy and proud of herself, but her teaching partner, Lucius Malfoy, surely had much more experience in battle than she did. Would he even congrat her afterwards?
"Don't think like that..."
She thought to herself.
"Your dueling skills made you a well known teacher where you come from Lyn. And now you also just got recognized by Headmaster Brendan Daylor."
Indeed, that felt good that her skills were recognized. She smiled back at the Headmaster and nodded.
"I'm honored Headmaster Brendan Daylor. I won't disappoint you"
She said as he turned. Some time later he begun to talk about a Hufflepuff, Dargul Rushuh and then about another Dark Lord. She had heard about Death Eaters but her challenging personality just saw in them worth dueling partners. She couldn't help herself and had to admit that she just loved dueling. But still, she listened carefully and hoped to understand the conversation soon, or else she'd have to interrupt the conversation and ask for some explanations to get along with what was said.

George was, admittedly, surprised that talk had turned to a new Dark Lord, especially in the present company. No wonder Headmaster Daylor had ordered a firewhisky for himself. A Dark Lord, going by Lord Lucius... hmm. George could have said any number of things, all of which would've made him look like a prat, so he didn't speak.
But Dargul Rushuh stirred some memories deep within the recesses of George's brain. "Dargul Rushuh? Nasty little pervert of a boy. He was always leering after Cho Chang... and Ginny, wasn't he?" George remembered him instantly. He also remembered concussing him with a broomstick (with Fred's help) and getting a week's worth of detentions from Professor Flitwick. Of all the teachers. "He's sought out a new Dark Lord?"
Again, Lord Lucius? George would've rolled his eyes.
"...So... what does that mean for the school?" George inquired, suddenly interested. He never really liked Rushuh - facing facts, he was a sick boy. A very sick one.

"Dargul Rushuh?" Zoe inquired, she believed she had heard the name somewhere, but she couldn't remember where. She listened to the Headmaster as he ended his speech.
Lord Lucius, she thought, oh dear, how predictable. She couldn't help but let a smile form on her face. She turned back to the other questions.
"A Pensieve will be appropriate, I believe, Headmaster," she said with a smile.
Zoe then listened to George's question and repeated.
"Yes, what does this mean for the school?" She surveyed the headmaster with expressionless eyes.

Netta was glad that Brendan had intervened, his small speech seemed to have pacified everyone. Definitely a good thing in her opinion. Then the subject turned to a new Dark Lord. Netta wasn't surprised by this information, there had been rumours for a while now and if you had been paying attention to the current events it was obvious something was up. Netta nodded at the the mention of Rushuh. She remembered him. He hadn't been the nicest person as George said. She really wasn't sure how he'd ended up in Hufflepuff really. There must have been some reason though.
The talk turned to the school once more, how this situation would affect the school. She turned her mind to this problem, thinking about what should be done. "The wands should probably be checked, make sure they're all up to full strength and possibly improve them a bit. Personally, I don't think we should set any extra precautions for the students. If we set new rules some of them will deliberately set out to break them." She said all of this calmly, a look of deep thought on her face. "Oh, and congratulations you two," she added as an afterthought to Katana and Lyn. A nurse was always a good person to have around (particularly when trouble was brewing) and it would be nice to have the Dueling Club back up and running.

Brendan nearly just nodded. The fact that the last name was Lucius. Brendan had troubled thoughts as to seeing whether he was a mere childhood friend of Malfoy's. Brendan thought long and hard. Than he remembered last he saw the previous lord. VOLDEMORT!!. He had been mostly 21 when the Battle at Hogwarts was in place. He had fought along side others at Death Eaters.
Brendan sighed. How he remembered, he knew not. It was just a random thought as of the previous. The staff sat around him. All discussing the importance. He just looked around and sighed again. Finally he spoke. "I... feel as if... to visit London. Perhaps tomorrow. I have... feelings that I will come across Death Eaters. Although I believe they will shield their masks so they cannot be revealed." He looked at Lucius to George to Zoe. "Join me??? Lucius perhaps you should stay undercover and act as if you're still loyal to the Death Eaters. However make it look as though you are willing to fight but no unforgivable spells! Netta we need you to stay and keep an eye on children and students. Katana you are the nurse now and will have to mend anything that comes across. Lyn you will stay and keep watch with Netta. I will find that we should be back.. if I'm accompanied... no later than midnight tomorrow!"

Lyn nodded back to Netta as to say Thank you when she congratulated Katana and Lyn. Lyn then listened to what the Headmaster had just said and nodded agreeing. She didn't quiet know what was going on but she saw in the other teachers' faces that it was serious. So she would keep watch with Netta. She looked again at her and nodded again as in agreeming.

George got an odd sinking feeling. No role for him. That meant that either Headmaster Daylor had something particularly important and life-threatening for him to do - George Weasley as Severus Snape - or that Headmaster Daylor had nothing for him to do. He didn't bring it up; after all, he was the one who refused to join the Order, on mental grounds that he held a grudge. Not that George was the most desirable asset in a war against evil. He was a prankster and a Quidditch marvel, NOT a wizard mastermind. Just quick on his feet.
George drank more firewhisky, noting how Lucius was supposedly spying for the Order. If that was true, he'd curse off his other ear. There was no chance of that being true. But Lucius remained silent, so George had no reason to jump.

Netta nodded along as Brendan spoke. Death Eaters in London once more. Not a good sign. Things most be taking a turn for the worse if Brendan was taking the staff out of the school to fight this new Lord's minions. That was all Netta saw them as. Minions. Although, admittedly, they were power hungry ambitious minions.
She agreed with his decision for her, Lyn and Katana to stay behind. Katana would be needed in the Hospital Wing and wouldn't be able to do her job properly there if she got injured in the field. And Lyn, she was one of the dueling instructors, she would be very useful to have around if the students were endangered. Netta hoped that there was no danger to them but it was always best to plan for the worst and act accordingly. Then there was herself staying behind. That made sense to her as well. She was Deputy Headmistress, if Brendan wasn't around it was expected for her to be present. That, and she was better at preventive and protection spells. Full out battle was not what she did best. She considered herself far more useful during the planning and ensuring the safety of her students. Brendan was playing to all the teachers strengths here. He had obviously thought this through.

Brendan smiled. "Then it's settled. Zoe, George and I will go to London tomorrow. Lucius will play his part as the Death Eater." He nearly jumped. He shook his head and sighed. "I forgot I invited the Minister to come and join us. Remember Jarren from school Netta?" He looked at her solemn. How could he have forgot. Although it'd make up for Minerva and Diandria not showing up.

Jerran wanted to go to the meeting at Hogs Head but he failed to go to it because he was in a meeting with the council and then Lucinda came entering his fathers office and talking about Chaplin. He needed to talk to this with Brendan. "assistant can you tell the people if they want me that I am at Hogs Head and you can do the councils if you want but just put them for tomorrow."Jerran said.
He then left his office and the Ministry as he got on Hogs Head by apperiating. He looked around dust his robes off and walked further around to the Hogs Head heading to the Headmaster inside. The people looked to him as he entered Hogs Head but he didn't mind. He walked to the table of staff as he greeted them.
"Sorry that I am late Brendan there were some problems can I talk to you later about that?"Brendan asked looking to the Headmaster.

Daylor was great to see him. "Ah, please sit down Minister." He smiled widely taking a sip of firewhisky. "Yes we can discuss perhaps tomor... tonight." He had almost forgotten the Ministry was not to know of the plan of fight tomorrow night. "Accio chair!" A chair came flying and landed next to Zoe and Katana.

Brendan only kept smiling. Of course there were many reasons. "Many! Students, Prime Minister, Death Eaters, James Potter, The Emerald Jewel and Dementors, Giants, Dragons and Defenses." He looked around. "I believe we've covered Students, P.M. and Death Eaters. Now what next?" He pondered trying to hide the red hand from everyone he had still gotten from the 2nd floor.
